The design of the terminal is an example of a concept that form follows function. This is done on purpose, which in the case of the ferry terminal is most justified. The scheme the building functions is clear already watching it from outside and its future user should not have any problems with communication, moving around the building intuitively. The building was designed as a two-storey, symmetrical form, which if necessary may be doubled or tripled, creating a band of terminals.
